• Lacrosse Stick - Do not purchase an expensive stick right away. Any basic stick will suffice for a beginning player. As the player progresses, tries out teammates sticks, and figures out his style of play, he will gradually move to a stick that works best for him.
   
• Lacrosse Gloves
   
• White Helmet - It is very important that it fits correctly and must be white.

• Elbow pads
   
• Athletic Cup - If a player fails to wear a cup at a game, the coach will receive a penalty.
   
• "Soccer style" cleats
   
• Mouth Guard - Must be a color other than clear or white.  (A white mouth guard with a colored stripe is not permissible.)

Youth starter kits can be purchased on many lacrosse store websites.

*Currently, Wenatchee Valley has no women's lacrosse team. Young women are encouraged to join, and do participate with, the Wenatchee Valley Lacrosse Club. Females playing on a male team abide by men's equipment standards. We have had a woman's team in the past, and if you're interested in helping to develop a team, please contact our board.
