WVL-Equipment Requirements

Mens: - Lacrosse Stick - Helmet (Must be NOCSAE certified and White) - Shoulder pads ( NFHSA certified) - Gloves (NFHSA certified) - Mouth Guard - Must be a color other than clear or white. A white mouth guard with a colored stripe is not permissible. - Soccer type cleats - Reversible practice jersey (Issued by WVL) Womens: - Lacrosse Stick (May not be a Men's style stick) - Eye Guard (ASTM and PECC Certified) - Mouth Guard - Must be a color other than clear or white. A white mouth guard with a colored stripe is not permissible. - Soccer type cleats - Reversible practice jersey (Issued by WVL) For anyone just starting out in the sport it is recommended that you do not purchase an expensive stick. Stick's have many different characteristics and become a personal choice once the player knows what they want. Ultimately you will end up with several sticks so might as well begin with an inexpensive starter stick and plan to upgrade. For this we suggest mowing lawns and babysitting.	Home
